At the AFC National
Policy Summit, the educational choice community gathers for the opportunity
to discuss policy, but also offers an opportunity to hear from those who have
directly benefited from choice programs.
Sandeep Thomas is one of those students who benefited from
having the ability to choose the school that best suited his needs. Sandeep was
an orphan in India suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder when he was
adopted by a family here in the United States. He struggled with traditional
public school, but his parents understood the importance of education and would
stop at nothing to try to find a good fit for their son. Eventually, they found
virtual learning and Sandeep succeeded in the program.
Hear from Sandeep and see how the ability for him to choose his
method of education allowed him to become the person he is today.
